Nina Simone is one of my favorite Jazz musicians and I highly recommend that you check out her full discography and, in particular, her cover of the song “Summertime.”

Sinnerman is from her 1965 album “Pastel Blues.”

This is my personal favorite rendition of Moonlight Sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven. It’s a stark contrast from my other music-related posts but if you listen to it, I think you’ll understand why I admire it so much.

This is yet another phenomenon that I was never really exposed to until two years after their original debut. Crayon Physics is an ingenious little puzzle game that allows you to ‘magically’ create physical 2D objects simply by drawing them on the screen. Your objective: to get a small ball to reach the yellow star in 7 different scenarios – simple enough but it can be rough at first. Created and developed by, Petri Purho of Finland, this prototype is great for units with stylus inputs and to keep kids briefly entertained. It is available for free download off his website at Kloonigames.com. Unfortunately, the full version of the game, Crayon Physics Deluxe, is still in developement.
