Nina Simone is one of my favorite Jazz musicians and I highly recommend that you check out her full discography and, in particular, her cover of the song “Summertime.”

Sinnerman is from her 1965 album “Pastel Blues.”

This is my personal favorite rendition of Moonlight Sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven. It’s a stark contrast from my other music-related posts but if you listen to it, I think you’ll understand why I admire it so much.

This is yet another phenomenon that I was never really exposed to until two years after their original debut.
