When Thinking Is Done In A Completely Different Dimension

Imagine the possibilities: unheard of fuel efficiency, unimaginable acceleration/braking times, ridiculous design capabilities (ok, maybe that one would be a stretch) and machine washable!?

So much for privacy on Facebook…

Every now and then I go through Facebook’s ‘Privacy Settings’ to make sure my information is kept somewhat under wraps.  Unfortunately, this time around, I saw that some of my settings had changed (unbeknowst to me) as well as the introduction of this little annoying tid bit:

How many people actually see this?

Granted it has been a while since I last checked each of the privacy settings but, regardless, it’s a shame that there doesn’t seem to be any notices that go out whenever something does change. That is unless, there’s a setting for that too that I just haven’t found yet.

I Dreamed in CSS the Other Night….

I dreamed in CSS the other night and was confused to find the attribute: display:hidden in the dream cloud’s header.

Just a Thought…

Is it an economically viable possibility to ‘store’ energy mechanically in order to offset energy consumption fluctuations and be environmentally friendly at the same time? In other words, is it possible to use a dam in reverse? This would function by having water be pumped into a reservoir to create an energy potential using any excess or wasted energy during off peak hours and then have it recapture the energy during peak hours by releasing the stored water. Granted the whole system would highly inefficient but by keeping power stored mechanically, it might dramatically lessen the environmental impact than, say, building and running a coal powered plant. Just a thought.
